Irreversible is an incredibly rough movie. It has a graphic ten minute long rape scene and even for people who can handle rape scenes in movies this one is a doozy. So just go into it prepared for that. As far as artistry goes it’s a very well made film, but it’s very intense and disorientating (on purpose).
