Looks great and is very comfortable, but the rifle still insists on Lapua X Act unfortunately like it did in the OEM stock, and I also need to rescope it, the Zeiss Conquest V4 with finger ... One of the more budget-friendly chassis from MDT, the XRS has a lot in common with the KRG Bravo. A lot of plastic, but a solid frame under it all that makes for a good chassis. Personally, I like the design of the XRS a little better because of things like the interchangeable grip, small barricade stop, and the much cheaper accessories.The XRS is called a hybrid rifle chassis, an effort by MDT to blend the lines of a traditional rifle stock with the common features of a traditional chassis system; the resulting look being reminiscent of the MAGPUL Hunter or KRQ Bravo- but with a full length 6061 aluminum core.Looking at these 3 for a for an older 700P. Im thinking Manners T5, stock pack has worked well for me. But the XRS looks well made and designed for a budget chassis. And of course the KRG is highly recommended here. 40 in/lbs should work just fine. My 457 was birthed as an AT-ONE 16 inch. It shot decent out of the box, but not as well as I wanted it to. The KRG stock made a positive difference. Both the bravo and the xrs can readily accept an arca rail just bolting it on. The b14r would take more work. Going with the MDT xrs also let's me add a different companies product so I don't have 2 different tikkas in 2 krg chassis. Now I will have 2 tikkas in different chassis. They are heavier then a KRG Bravo or the MDT XRS by about 1 to 2 pounds and priced about 100-150$ more as well.With the B14R and KRG Bravo, I pushed the trigger guard forward more to take out the slack of the Bergara magazine and has performed OK. I still have issues with the rounds nose diving about 10% of the time.
