Per intsruction from this forum, I pulled number 45 fuse underneth the hood which stopped the fan. Then I looked at fan relay switch #12 and it was burned out. I went to Cadillac bought the fan relay switch for $18.00 and replaced it. Replacing the fan relay switch fixed the problem and was quick and easy.
