The PCM turns the key light on. Since multiple keys fail there is probably a problem in the receiver unit or PCM. If the PCM is not communicating with a scanner it may be defective. Make sure there is nothing else hanging on the key, other keys etc. One glitch in the troubleshooting is the remote starter.
