However, after my last oil change, I cut the thing open and 'viola', the pleat connection was a bad glue job with it folded over on the end.

The LF641 is "close enough," with the same gasket diameter, the same threads, and a filter housing that's less than a half inch shorter than the PF63, and that's what's usually listed for these applications.
