I was never really satisfied with the stock character sheet and I love using OneNote as a DM and taking notes in general. So I built a streamlined character sheet unbound by the limits of paper. EverNote is clean and simple, but it's also a pain in the ass and handles pictures horribly. OneNote functions almost like a free form digital piece of paper: you can just click anywhere on a page and start typing there. Or drawing. Or adding images. You get books, tabs, pages, sub pages, etc, for all of your needs.
