Looks like, Owlcat made some items rearranging, so from some version it's not possible nor create covenant in first act (not enough magic essense), nor +8dex-boots in third one (not enough magic creature skin)I forgot to let the storyteller repair the piece of a holy symbol back at Defender's Heart. :-( Now I'm already on my way to Drezen. Is there a way to repair the Covenant of the Inheritor later on arrival in Drezen or do I have to skip my progress so far and start all over again?
